As one of the leading Persian rug stores in Melbourne, we supply only premium hand-made rugs. Our rugs are sourced from Persia / Iran, India, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan. Each rug is woven from the finest quality materials of wool, natural silk, and the finest of durable synthetic fibres. We stock a large range of qualities & designs to accomodate all lifestyle, budgets & homes.

Most of our rugs are woven of hand spun or mill spun wool, hand-dyed using traditional methods. Every design warrants a different technique of weaving & materials used to bring out the best effect & texture for each design. Woven Treasures is an advocate of fair and ethical working environments. We ensure that each and every rug we design, create and import is sourced free from child labour and that fair working conditions are a priority for our weavers and craftspeople.

Our range includes traditional Persian rugs, tribal, transitional rugs, contemporary / modern rugs, designer rug, natural silk rugs and more. Our traditional rug collection is sourced from world-renowned weavers of Iran, India, Afghanistan & Pakistan. Traditional rugs showcase historical designs influenced by ancient Persian architecture from the regions of Qum, Isfahan, Tabriz and Kashan. Woven Treasures also sources a fine selection of rugs for sale in Melbourne, woven in classical European motifs inspired by William Morris, Art Nouveau and French provincial motifs & Indian Architecture.
We also hold a beautiful, hand-selected range of collectable and valuable pure silk signature rugs.

At Woven Treasures, we care for rugs new and old, we see the beauty in unwanted vintage rugs with these rugs, we breathe new life into them by taking old traditional carpets creating a fresh new look by distressing and over dying them in rich colours.
